As the image describes, Marcus is a “centaur werewolf symbiote warrior”.
This is definitely one of the most imaginative stretches on the theme of centaur I’ve seen in comics ever. And, believe me, I have seen an amazing amount of taur permutations over the years. Marcus appears in the latest Marvel “Deadpool: The Gauntlet” comics series. Deadpool, along with The Punisher, Jonah Hex and Ghost Rider, is in the lowest echelon of comic book favorites for me. But I think a centaur werewolf symbiote character, even a lesser minion of Dracula, adds some minor allure to books featuring Deadpool. You can never underestimate the lengths comic book writers will go to create distinctly unusual characters. Marcus is a winner in the “One-of-a-Kind” category.
“Deadpool: The Gauntlet” is an Infinite comic series, while the print version appears to be titled “Deadpool: Dracula’s Gauntlet”. I suppose some comic book geeks must love these twists in media, but I find it all quite a bit confusing.
There are other manimals to be found in the series including a minotaur and a werewolf. The series is just chuck full of beastie boys. That’s just fine by me. The more the better.
